Day 3

Lectures: Tova Averbuch & Ilan Kirschenbaum

Facilitation workshop for Scrum Masters

The workshop will make use of Open Space Technology (OST), which will enable us to realize and address what truly bothers us. We will achieve that through self organization and responsibility out of passion. Following our Open Space experience we will reflect where and how all this serves us in our day-to-day role

This one day workshop is part of the Scrum Master Week. You may choose to attend the entire week, or pick and choose the right days for you.

Do you also find yourself struggling to live the agile values and principles in your work?
Do you also feel that “you have it in you” but at the moment of truth it’s too hard to make it practical?
Do you also find yourself torn between implementing Scrum ceremonies and implementing the essence of agile processes?
Do you also struggle to find the words and wonder “so what is it that we are doing here?
And do you also find it too hard to hold everything for everyone without putting yourself as responsible in the center?

If you feel discomfort or even anxious from taking the role of facilitator, which sounds so important and yet so vague
If you are looking for a team to openly talk to about Individuals and Interactions over Processes and Tools
Well - we have such a day for you!

We will meet to jointly explore the role of the Scrum Master as a facilitator in the team.

During this workshop we will explore and uncover facilitation resources that we may already possess. Together we will surface them so they are available for us “in real time” where it matters - during Scrum events and other team meetings.

The workshop will make use of Open Space Technology (OST), which will enable us to realize and address what truly bothers us. We will achieve that through self organization and responsibility out of passion. Following our Open Space experience we will reflect where and how all this serves us in our day-to-day role.

You may read more on Open Space Technology in short here (Hebrew), in some more length here (Hebrew), and

in this book here (for those with more patience)
